School Meals & Milk

 

Daily milk is provided free of charge to children in the Nursey and Reception classes, up to the Friday before their 5th birthday, according to the government 'Milk for Schools' scheme.

Once children are 5 years old, if  they would like to continue to receive School Milk this should be ordered online through Cool Milk (coolmilk.com) and paid for on a termly basis; Autumn, Spring & Summer. 

 

School Meals are free of charge for children in the Reception and Key Stage 1 classes as all children in this age group receive 'Universal Free School Meals' based on their age.

There is a charge for all meals for children in year 3 and upwards.  Meals should be paid for in advance on a weekly or termly basis via the Parentpay system.

From September 2026 School meals are £3.00 per day and £15.00 per week. 

 

Free School Meals

There are changes to the Free School Meal system from September 2026, including the introduction of two levels of entitlement. Your child may be entitled to a free meal if you are receiving Universal Credit.
